VHS Partner: The Pawsitive Dog, Boston MA. Dog training that is postive, motivational, balanced and thorough.
Come visit the wonderful kittens and cats that the shelter has for adoption, and help the kitties by bringing with you some much needed supplies! We are in great need for cat litter, paper towels, laundry soap, Lysol, canned food (kitten and cat) and dry food (kitten and cat), and stamps. While visiting, please think about giving one of our wonderful felines a "Home For The Holidays"!!!!
BEFORE you contact VHS about surrendering your cat, please download this form, fill it out and send it to VHS so that we have all the information necessary to process your request. You may also email all the information requested to catshelter@hotmail.com. Be sure your email contains all the information asked for in the surrender form. This will help your surrender process go more quickly and smoothly.
We have new kitties arriving every week. Please understand that cats and kittens are adopted out on a first come, first served basis, so some of the cats you see listed may already be adopted out. The best way to choose the cat that is right for you is to interact with them personally. We have all ages from kittens to seniors. If you are not ready to bring a cat into your home but would like to help, please send donations to the address below or stop by the shelter.
Already have a cat or two and think you might like to add another? Recommended reading: "Cat Wrangling Made Easy" by Dusty Rainbolt. Yes it sounds like a silly title but there is important information in this book about cat behaviour and managing the multi-cat household. Ask for it at your local library. Or Click here
